ABOUT BUYING VINTAGE CLOTHING

Vintage means pre-loved. Our clothing has had a life before it even reaches you! Please be aware that most vintage clothing does show small signs of wear, and some pieces display noticeable wear. In the event that an item is damaged in any way that affects its wearability, we will make a note of it under the “Details” section of the item page. Each item is checked for flaws by 2-3 people before ever leaving our racks, and we try to describe all items in detail, to help you make the best choice when shopping with us.

Occasionally we do carry what is called “new old stock,” or “deadstock” vintage clothing, sunglasses, and accessories. These are rare pieces that come from stores that have long been closed, or directly from the manufacturer or designer’s archive. These items are unworn, and usually come with original tags, but over time even unworn vintage clothing can show signs of age.

We try our best to date each item according to its era, whether it be 80s sunglasses or a vintage prom dress. In the event that we sell a contemporary designer piece, we may list it in the vintage section, since it is pre-worn, but will write “modern” or “contemporary” on the item page.

Please pay close attention to measurements given for each garment, as we do not give refunds for items that do not fit. See our Fit Guide to learn more about how to find the perfect vintage clothing to fit your body and your style. Estimated sizes are meant only as a guideline, and refunds will only be given in the event that your item arrives in a condition grossly different than our representation. We thoroughly inspect every item to ensure this does not happen.

We do occasionally clip larger items to our models to show detail, so please refer to our detailed measurements to determine the perfect fit for you.

We recommend that our customers wash or dry clean all items before wearing.
